This is a highly alkali solution based on potassium hydroxide blended with inorganic acids, surfactants and sequestrants giving a product capable of cleaning -removing rust– paint and carbon deposit from iron and steel components
Application: This product has been developed for wide range of cleaning methods from heated soak tanks –agitation –flow and ultrasonic machines also because of its low foam surfactants spray wash machines
Make up: Used at 60—80c the concentration is dependent on what is being removed for contaminants such as oil and grease 5—10% and for the removal of rust– paint and carbon up to 50% other factor come into play such as turnaround time of the process and any mechanical aids
Operating conditions: Heated immersion tank of heavy-duty polythene or steel (mild or stainless) construction. Only recommended for ferrous components
